This fox really is in London, well outer London and our garden to be precise !
He was sound asleep in the sun on the garden shed roof at 11am yesterday morning but woke up when he became aware of my presence. He disappeared just after I took the bottom photo.
Foxes are a common sight in the outer London suburbs and sometimes much further in.

Beautiful photos, Luis! Thank you for sharing them.
We live on nine acres of woodland, with just under a half acre cleared for our house and gardens. The wildlife we see year 'round is astounding -- from (many) deer, to wild turkeys, red and grey fox, coyote, squirrels, toads, turtles, chipmunks, and dozens of varieties of birds.
Two weeks ago, a box turtle dug a big hole under one of my larger garden plants (in the shade) and laid eggs, covering the nest with soil. The eggs should take several months to hatch, so I cannot stake up my plant for fear of piercing one of the underground eggs with a stake.
Just last week, a sparrow hatched five babies in a nest in the branches of a small evergreen near our front porch, so I cannot weed anywhere near that tree, for fear of frightening her as she flits from the woods to the nest feeding them.
The critters are taking over our homestead. :)

Thank you Joanie.
Sounds a very impressive collection of wildlife where you live !
Foxes are about as good as we get in the suburbs of London :-) I did however just see a mouse in the garden that I can only guess was a cut above your average undesirable house mouse ! It seemed to be foraging for something and was very small but with a very long tail. A field mouse I am guessing !
All the best to your turtles and all the others !
I don't know where July has gone but I hope to start posting here again soon.
